Tuesday, November 11, 2003 King James Games Puzzle Book Series Begins |
| Andrews-McMeel Publishing has signed a publishing agreement with Timothy E. Parker, an Assistant Pastor at Baltimore's Tabernacle of Deliverance Christian Center to produce a series of puzzle books based on the Holy Scripture.
King James Games will feature over 320 pages of crosswords and puzzles based solely on the King James Version of the Holy Bible.
Puzzle master Timothy Parker states, "Each puzzle is designed to teach the scripture. These puzzles are to be completed slowly, rather than quickly. The memorization of God's word through puzzles is unique, and hopefully will be a catalyst for many, many people to learn God's promises, God's grace, and God's sacrifice through His word. These puzzles are both entertaining and educational."
Parker and AMU have agreed to publish up to 20 volumes of King James Games. The books will be distributed worldwide.
Volume One is due to be published in June of 2004. |
